hot, hot, hot
I just walked down to the brook in back of my house, followed a deer path to the water and actually stood in the wet stuff...This is after 8 years of owning this property.. A safe path will be built for future 95 degree days :o)

Dresser makeover
I picked up this antique dresser last summer at a garage sale for $5. The veneer was cracked and missing and there were no drawer pulls. I filled the places missing veneer with wood filler and sanded..Here's what it looks like today after I primed it with an olive base...Tomorrow I will take a candle and rub over the high spots and then paint the cream...After that coat dries, I will sand the high spots to let some of the green show through...I might paint something on the drawers if inspiration presents itself

reaction
Someone once told me that you can never change another person, You can only change the way you react to them...I still have problems with this though I know it's a life truth.
Just because it hasn't happened yet, doesn't mean it won't

tomorrow concrete
I recently made the huge mistake of joining a Crafters Book Club...Today I received a long awaited book with 40+ concrete projects in it...Guess I'll be doing some landscaping soon

stripped
Not for the faint of heart...I am stripping the kitchen cabinets...messy, smelly and tempted to go with the distressed look (not really. Have to wait a couple of days because it will be in the 90s today and tomorrow. Not painting weather
